Your handbook says service every 15,000 km. But manufacturer intervals assume mild climates and steady highway driving. UAE conditions — extreme heat, fine dust, stop-start traffic and short AC-heavy trips — are officially "severe operating conditions" in most manufacturers’ own fine print.
The UAE-smart schedule: engine oil every 8,000–10,000 km (synthetic), air filter checked every service (dust!), cabin filter every 10,000 km, coolant every 2 years, brake fluid every 2 years, transmission fluid every 40,000–60,000 km even if "sealed for life", and tyres rotated every 8,000 km.
Skipping the small services is false economy. An AED 300 oil service protects a AED 15,000 engine; a AED 150 coolant flush prevents a AED 3,000 radiator-and-head-gasket summer.
A minor service at an independent garage runs AED 250–600 for most cars — compare quotes from verified garages near you and keep digital records of every service through your dashboard.
